The Academy is a Youth Club with all its members being under the age of 18. This Academy is about tapping into the climbing community and the spirit of Sheffield and giving young people a chance to become involved with something run not for profit. This is a climbing team and one that would like to see some of its members make it to the very top.

A great day has been had by all who attended. Thanks to Jim for organising it all.
Training in tree climbing and aiding (the rope does not count as a hand hold Josh!) was delivered, along with some more traditional outdoor climbing - proving Academy will try its hand (which some of the girls needed for assistance on a particular boulder) to any form of climbing!

Brilliant result from all and we have 6 national finalists. Well done.
